I was tasked by the VP of Product to architect a brand new mobile app for the Verizon Wireless division. I was challenged with an aggressive deadline to have a working prototype by the launch of Verizon's rebranding.
Within the first few weeks, I had completed my research and produced wireframes for the new Verizon Wireless iOS and Android apps. I created a new purchase path that reduced the number of steps needed to shop new devices and sign up for a wireless plan.
I was able to achieve this in the UX design with a layered approach. I defined primary, secondary, and decision points in the purchase path and assigned view layers components accordingly (main screen, off-canvas slideout panels, and modals). We completed the prototype by the given deadline and it and received approval to start the project to design and develop the production version mobile apps.
This is one of my proudest achievements. My success with prior Verizon projects afforded me with an opportunity from the VP of Product to create the vision and execute. It is an amazing feeling to have millions of people using a digital product that I created.
